Marist FC of the Solomon Islands have revealed a stunning new kit for the Oceania Champions League.
The club has home advantage in Group D of the Champions League and will wear a traditional light blue kit in the tournament.
Manufactured by Brazilian kitmaker Thahel Esportes the kit uses the traditional sky blue colour and has sponsorship from Tsata and Yamaha.
The away kit is a striking blue with dark blue sleeves and shorts.
The Marist FC Oceania Champions League kit will be worn by a host of stars from Solomon Islands including 35-year-old legend Henry Fa’arodo, who returned to the club in 2017.
Fa’arado, who has scored 20 goals for the national team, has previously played for Perth Glory, Auckland City, Team Wellington and won the Oceania Champions League with Hekari United in 2010.
He will be joined by highly-rated midfielders Atkin Kaua and Thomas Amasia, as well as international defender Jeffrey Bule in a strong Marist squad.
Marist will also have 17-year-old defender John Aeta, who is one of the youngest full internationals in world football.
Marist open their campaign against New Zealand’s Team Wellington on 24 February before games against Magenta of New Caledonia on 27 February and Lupe ole Soaga of Samoa on 2 March.
