Vanuatu striker Jean Kaltack and midfielder Jonathan Spokeyjack have joined Ifira Black Bird.
The duo will join for the second round of the Port Vila Premier League in a major coup for the club.
Kaltack was previously playing for Erakor Golden Star alongside younger brother Tony but failed to make an appearance as the club were knocked out of the Oceania Champions League at the group stage.
Kaltack, aged just 23, has nine goals for the Vanuatu national team since making his debut in 2011 at the age of just 17.
He also famously scored 16 goals in a single game against the Federated States of Micronesia in an u23 match for Vanuatu. He has also appeared for the country in the OFC u20 Championship, where he won the Golden Boot with six goals.
The striker has previously played for AS Dragon in Tahiti and Hekari United from Papua New Guinea.
Ifira Black Bird, who are aiming for Oceania Champions League qualification, have also signed Jonathan Spokeyjack from Shepherds United.
While brother Tony Kaltack is the starting striker for Erakor Golden Star, the side will miss the striking ability of Jean.
After the club’s Champions League elimination the club was rocked by the resignation of President Josiah Russel.
Russel also owns Erakor Express, the club’s biggest sponsor, leaving the club with an uncertain future.
